Back in 2013, Leftloft designed a whole new visual identity for Museo Madre, a contemporary art museum located in Napoli. In 2018, Madre has asked for a review of its identity, to satisfy the needs of a more complex institutional environment. We have redesigned the corporate image and renewed the website. The new identity has been launched with a campaign for an exhibition about legendary American photographer Robert Mapplethorpe.
Italics is the first digital editorial platform that promotes the culture and beauty of Italy through the voices of Italian art gallerists, including international leading galleries Gagosian, Galleria Continua, Massimo De Carlo. Working together and sharing experiences, on and offline, with an international audience of collectors and art lovers, Italics spotlights Italy and what makes it extraordinary by sharing gallerists’ very personal experience and tips. With Leftloft, we have designed and developed visual identity, naming, a website, and the IG social channel @italics.art of Italics.
With Leftloft, for one of the most important Italian companies, Magneti Marelli, we designed a new communication system that has been used in the year 2018. This system includes spatial design for international trade fairs (United States, China), graphic layouts for different communication tools, both digital and printed matters.
A cultural space called Combo was born in 2019, it’s a hostel mixed with a contemporary art gallery, a radio station, and a huge space for people to have fun. With this great ambition of expanding to 3 important Italian cities, Combo asked Leftloft to create a brand new identity, also an appealing website to let the inhabitant get to know it better. With Leftloft we created a charismatic website to show both hospitality and cultural side.
Icon Design Talks, a series of lectures on architecture and design by Icon Design magazine, usually takes place during the week of Salone del Mobile. The protagonists often include international architects and designers. For the fourth edition of Icon design talks, we created 4 proposals for the event campaign, even though the clients chose proposal 1, unfortunately, the event was postponed and eventually canceled due to the outbreak of Covid-19. Designed in Leftloft.
Galleria Raffaella Cortese is a contemporary art gallery based in Milan since 1995 representing a transgenerational group of 30 global artists, including Roni Horn, Kiki Smith, Kimsooja... On the occasion of its’ twenty-fifth anniversary, with Leftloft we designed a brand new identity, the website, and the social media communication formats. The choice of font gc16 typeface by foundry Bold decisions a monospaced yet organic typeface, combining digital and humanistic traits, emphasizing exactly the characters of the gallery.
Oi: Osservatorio Immagino, is a biannual publication by GS1 Italy about Italian people’s consumption trends. Every edition comes with a 60 seconds video spot to communicate the content synthetically, making the publication easier to be understood. I took part in the animation for the last four editions started in 2017. Illusrations by Nerdo studio and Nico189, designed in Leftloft.
Maxxi&Bulgari is a prize that rewards and gives encouragement to international young artists. With Leftloft we created a campaign and catalogue for the event and exhibition in 2018. By using gold palettes in an unconventional way, this project aimed to integrate the values of a luxury brand with the world of contemporary art.
LAND is an international landscape architecture studio with offices in Italy, Switzerland, and Germany. In 2019 LAND had held the first convention in Milan, for their colleagues from 3 European offices to discuss the future of architecture and urban landscape. With Leftloft we worked on the campaign and spatial design of the convention. Specially we designed 3 foldable brochures, which present the 3 offices of LAND. On the front side, we have collected all the case studies of the 3 offices, on the backside, the graphic of the 3 brochures are 3 puzzles that can be connected and eventually become a whole landscape of 30 years of LAND's works.
During my collaboration with Leftloft, I have produced most of the digital content for its social networks. Specific content has been designed to successfully communicate every project on different social platforms and to effectively present complex projects to a wider audience.
